While we were cleaning the last moose, Bjorn was explaining how these moose parts are similar to mechanical parts.  The ball joints in vehicles were probably designed after animal ball joints.

Bjorn explained steel is pounded out with a little ridge, similar to the ridge in this hip bone, to give the piece strength.

One thing's for sure, the Whiskeyjacks are happy for the meal!
